Since the beginning of this century, the development of key competences for lifelong learning has been an important political imperative for the Member States of the European Union. A time of substantial changes in the teaching and learning process where one of the main focuses in education was the inclusion of the term competences in the school curriculum, as well as its proper evaluation.
