The area of special education is known for its constant fight over educational rights, inclusiveness and better quality of life for it’s public. Considering it as one of the responsibles for the integration of these individuals, this research aims to identify aspects that influence the classes’ assistant teacher when choosing their approach and methodology. The data search was conducted using the concept of “entrevista reflexiva”, by Szymanki (2011), in order to develop the methodologic aspects, taking into account it’s characteristics, three meetings with teachers were conducted, which provided the data for the analysis, which was done following the concept of Franco (2009).
