The portrayal of gender discrimination in 1970 reflected on misbehaviour

The writer aims to explore the gender discrimination of women 1970 experienced by Sally Alexander as the lead character in the film Misbehaviour and its impact. The woman represented in this film is the one who lived in London 1970 and participated in feminist emancipation with a persistent, independent, and determined character according to her life background. The writer uses a qualitative method and takes film data in the form of scenes and dialogues through the writer herself as a research instrument. The author uses Fakih's gender discrimination theory to examine all the data collected.
