Die Dissertation „Calciumdynamik in T-Lymphozyten – Modell zur Anwendung in pharmakologischen Studien“ untersucht die Veränderungen der Calciumkonzentration in einer T‑Zelle in Folge einer immunologischen Aktivierung. Das in silico-Calciumdynamik-Modell der T-Zelle enthält alle relevanten Calciumkanäle sowie Calciumpumpen und berücksichtigt ihre jeweiligen Dichten in der Plasmamembran und in der Membran des Endoplasmatischen Retikulums. Das Modell basiert auf biophysikalischen und pharmakologischen Parametern aus der Literatur. Die Beobachtung der Calciumdynamik wird durch mathematische Implementierung der physiologischen Parameter in ein Differentialgleichungs-System ermöglicht.
