KOMUNIKASI INTERPERSONAL KAKAK GENERASI Y DENGAN ADIK GENERASI Z DALAM MENJAGA HUBUNGAN PERSAUDARAAN (Studi Kasus Komunikasi Pasangan Kakak Adik Yang Berlatar Belakang Keluarga Broken Home di Jawa Timur )

The goal of this research is to find out how interpersonal communication that happened between younger sibling generation Z and older sibling generation Y at maintaining their relationship. Siblings are part of a family so maintaining sibling relationship is as important as maintaining family relation. But that does not disclose the possibility that this sibling relation have a problem that base on age difference or gap communication the fact is that this could lead to difference opinion on some matter and could lead to dispute between the two. When that happened the dispute between them could cause their sibling relation would be damaged. Not only the result of age difference but element from parents relation could also cause sibling relation to get the same effect. The result of this research reveal that siblings relationship could work out harmoniously when they could understand the situation that they are in, this based on interpersonal communication that conducted by older sibling generation Y and younger sibling generation Z that have the main role to maintain their relation, also positive attitude that each pair of siblings have which are openness, empathy, support, positive feeling and equality
