The diploma thesis on The issue of home office in the selected company in terms of the advantages and the disadvantages working from home aims to analyze and identify the advantages and the disadvantages of home office and propose a suitable procedure for motivating employees to use home office in a selected organization. The thesis is divided into theoretical and practical parts. The theoretical part of the thesis is based on the study of literature and other available sources and summarizes the basic concepts and knowledge in this area. It defines the concept of personnel management and focuses on the development stages of the managerial approach to personnel, introduces and describes flexible forms of employment, characterizes and defines the concept of home office and gets acquainted with the current legislation on work outside the workplace in the Czech Republic. The practical part of the thesis is focused on the already mentioned analysis and identification of advantages and disadvantages of home office in a development and consulting company and on designing a suitable procedure for motivating employees in the use of home office.
