The study utilized the descriptive design. Using convenience sampling technique, a total of 50 mothers who subjected their child to newborn screening at De La Salle University Medical Center, General Trias Maternity and Pediatric Hospital, Korea-Philippines Friendship Hospital, Our Lady of Pillar Medical Center, and Tanza Family General Hospital participated as the respondents of the study. Data was obtained using a self-made questionnaire and analyzed through frequency distribution, percentage distribution, mean, Analysis of Variance via f-test, and t-test of independent means.
