Upaya Guru Pendidikan Agama Islam Dalam Meningkatkan Ukhwah Islamiyah Di SMA Negeri 6 Pekanbaru

Islamic brotherhood is one of the important things, the most ideal, most interesting, most beautiful and most useful in Islam. These conditions can be seen in Quran and sunnah. Islam requires the bounding such as the bounding among muslims, similarity, accord in many things because the similarity in inherit cause the brotherhood. Based on survey that done at SMA N 6 Pekanbaru, there were some students who do not have a good brotherhood, because many of them still fighting with other students from other schools, did not respect between senior and junior and interfere other friends. The objective of this reseach was to find out the effort of Islamic Religion teachers in improving islamic brotherhood at SMAN 6 Pekanbaru. This is qualitative study means describing data in form of words or pictures in order do not force in the form of numbers that obtained from Islamic religion teachers at SMAN 6 Pekanbaru. In collecting data, it used primary and secondary data. In obtaining the result of this study, it used interview and found out the data in the field sistematically, then the other material also collected in order to get more understanding. Interviewing that done by researcher by interviewing Islamic religion teachers. From the result of interview, it obtained that there were five ways in realizing the unity of muslims, namely covering the mistake of brethren, forgiving the brethren, removing the brethren difficulties, being kind to the muslims and praying for all muslims. Thus, the result of this result shows islamic religion teachers play a role and strive as educators in improving students’ islamic behaviour, then the teachers also play as a model , public figure and evaluator in improving students’ islamic behaviour at SMAN 6 Pekanbaru
