Further Comments on the Unknown Translation of John Calvin in PolandThe study is dealing with a newly discovered Polish translation of Calvin’s Second Geneva Catechism published in 1564 in the printing house of Maciej Wirzbięta in Cracow and preserved in the Strahov Library (Strahovska knihovna) in Prague. Kathechizmus, to iest, sposob nauczania y ćwiczenia dziatek w prawdziwey y ssczyrey naucze Krześcijańskiey vczyniony na kstałt rozmowy with a foreword written by the Calvinist minister from Ćmielow, Aleksander Witrelin (died c. 1587) seems to be a newly revised version of a translation, prepared before 1559. Witrelin probably corrected this text using a Latin edition of Calvin’s Second Geneva Catechism after 1561
