Among the local composers concerned with the development of the concero genre and who currently remains the author with the largest number of concertos is Oleg Negruța. The composer addressed this genre during his entire composition activity, his concertos comprising almost the entire range of instruments that are part of the symphony orchestra. In his record we find 23 concertos of different types. At the beginning of the 80's, in Oleg Negruța's creation features the first Concerto for voice and orchestra in the history of Moldovan music.
