Chronic inflammatory diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis, type 2 diabetes and cardiovascular diseases, are associated with the homeostatic imbalance of one of several physiological systems combined with the lack of spontaneous remission, which causes the disease to persevere throughout patients’ lives.
