The article aims to describe the pedagogy of game, from the processes of teaching, living and learning of children's play in the context of non-formal education. Thus, a qualitative, descriptive-exploratory research was carried out, composed of participant observation of the free time, interviews-conversation and panel with the children and semi-structured interviews with the educators. The information was analysed by Content Analysis and data triangulation. The results signal that the games are co-constructed by the children, who learn to play with relatives, friends, Physical Education teachers and the media.
