The article deals with stylistic and genre principles of forming an original artisticmodel. The material for the analysis is M. Zoshchenko and N. Radlov’s book-album «Funnystories (Thirty happy ideas)». The author analyzes the interaction of graphic and verbalcomponents that helps to produce satirical effects. The author pays special attention to thesatirical tradition of popular prints (lubok).
