Le but premier de ce travail doctoral était de contribuer à la connaissance du paysage archéologique du sud-ouest de la Gaule pour répondre à l’étude proposée par Reine Hadjadj, en travaillant principalement sur les bagues et les anneaux du haut Moyen Âge. Objets de parure et de vêture, les bijoux sublimant les corps représentent un champ d’étude fécond qui permet de documenter les cultures matérielles des sociétés du passé, de la vie quotidienne aux évènements sociaux.
