This article collects outstanding results that show how bodily motor coordination is the foundation for the development of basic cognitive functions and processes and show the results obtained in a case study. A student population of elementary school students ages 11-15 years of age was described by their performance in motor coordination and academic achievement based on the hypotheses and theses that emerge from the relationship between bodily experience and cognitive development and in the framework of applied research.
