Actividades lúdicas y la motricidad en los niños con síndrome de down

This research aims to develop motor skills in children with Down's syndrome, at the “Centro Especiales Cotopaxi”, through leisure activities and at the same time to inform teachers and parents that the game is important, which is determined as a factor enabling the infant to improve motor activity, social interaction, cognitive development and in turn determine what skills and abilities that build on children.The methodology used is the deductive method, inductive method, qualitative method.The leisure activity take up an important place in education, it is shown that especially in early childhood is a heavy reliance on motor skills emotional and intellectual development. One of the causes of delays is; the lack motor skills play activities in children.The objectives are: to diagnose teachers´ knowledge in on the subject of recreational activities and fine and gross motor skills in children with Down´s syndrome, to know the teachers´ ability to work with children with Down´s Syndrome Down, to analyze the information to establish the results that will help the overall development in children with Down´s syndrome.The methods used to obtain this information was the interview with the Mrs. Director, teachers and parents´ surveys and observation sheet to children to thereby obtain the results of the research work, the same which they were analyzed and interpreted in order to verify the hypothesis. By applying game activities will help to expand their knowledge, body movements, correct motor skills, language, express their emotions, feelings being a creative, critical, analytical, and able to solve their own problems in the future.That is why the Bachelor in Nursery Education helps in the children‟s development at an early age, showing interest to improve the children´s academic level with the proper use of leisure activities and motor skills; and thus it will help a better progress in teaching and learning.La presente investigación tiene como objetivo desarrollar la motricidad en los niños con síndrome de Down del “Centro Especiales Cotopaxi”, a través de las actividades lúdicas y al mismo tiempo dar a conocer a las docentes y padres de familia que el juego es de mayor importancia determinando como un factor que permita al infante mejorar la actividad motriz, relación social, desarrollo cognitivo y a su vez determinar que habilidades y destrezas que forjan en los niños. La metodología utilizada es el método Deductivo, método Inductivo, método Cualitativo. La actividad lúdica ocupa un lugar importante en la educación, está demostrado que sobre todo en la primera infancia hay una gran dependencia en los desarrollos motores, afectivos e intelectuales. Una de las causas que retrasa la motricidad es la falta actividades lúdicas en los niños/as. Los objetivos planteados son: diagnosticar los conocimientos que tiene las docentes sobre el tema de las actividades lúdicas y la motricidad fina y gruesa en los niños con síndrome de Down, conocer la capacidad que tiene el personal docente dela institución para trabajar con niños con síndrome de Down, analizar la información para establecer los resultados que ayude al desarrollo integral en los niños con síndrome de Down. Los métodos que se ha utilizado para obtener está información fue la entrevista a la Señora Directora, las encuestas a los docentes y padres de familia y la ficha de observación a los niños/as para de esta manera obtener los resultados de la investigación, los mismos que fueron analizados e interpretados con el fin de verificar la hipótesis. Mediante la aplicación de las actividades lúdicas ayudara a que amplíen sus conocimientos, movimientos corporales, una correcta motricidad, su lenguaje, exprese sus emociones, sentimientos siendo un ente creador, crítico, analítico, capaz de resolver sus propios problemas en el futuro. Es por ello que la Carrera de Licenciatura en Educación Parvularia ayuda en el desarrollo de los niños y niñas en tempranas edades
