The annual WISALTS field day was hald at 'Deep Pool', the Beverley property of Des Moir, which has received recent construction of interceptor banks designed by Harry Whittington. Run off from two neighbouring properties had previously caused low lying areas of the property to be under water during winter including an area which this year is successfully under crop. During the planning stages of the work, Harry Whittington discovered the need for a very extensive length of plastic sheeting to seal a major throughflow, with almost 1.3 kilometres of sheeting used for sealing in the most cost-effective way.
