This study aims to analyze the effect of competence and empowering leadership on performance with work commitment as a mediating variable. Sampling using purposive sampling with 120 respondents as the research sample. The data analysis used in this research is Structural Equation Modeling - Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS). Based on the results of the analysis, there are several conclusions that competence and empowerment leadership have a positive effect on performance, while work commitment has no effect on performance. Another conclusion is that work commitment does not mediate the influence of empowerment competence and leadership on performance
