Sand dunes and submarine banks are ubiquitous,especially on the internal platform. Understandingtheir morphodynamics, and the associated sedimentfluxes (internal and external), is therefore crucial forunderstanding sediment dynamics in coastal areas.However, the measurement of sediment fluxes is stilla scientific challenge, due to the large spatial andtemporal variability of transport, for unsteadyhydrodynamic forcings.
