The Hoosier Salon continued in the 1980s at L.S. Ayres store but the Salon offices moved again. The Board of Trade Building was torn down so the Salon moved to the Morrison Opera Place at 47 South Meridian Street. In October 1981 a grand opening was held in the new gallery space. By 1982 the 58th annual Salon also had a new logo designed with palette and brushes. More change was apparent in the 1983 Salon with all styles of art represented and even the Best of Show prize going to a modern entry.Use of this image is restricted to projects related to Destination Indiana.
