The aim of the bachelor thesis is to find out whether online stores use unfair business practices to deceive the consumer, which can result in a negative impact on his confidence. The theoretical part of the bachelor thesis describes the issue of unfair business practices, the activities of the Czech Trade Inspection Authority, the reasons why we need consumer protection and unfair business practices used in online shopping. In the practical part of the bachelor thesis, interview with an expert and survey confirm that some of the online stores use unfair and aggressive business practices that are abusing consumer confidence.
