Association analysis is a new approach in wheat genetic studies that enables a more successful implementation of marker assisted selection (MAS) in breeding programs. In this paper, 96 hexaploid wheat genotypes were used for phenotype evaluation during two years, and molecular analysis using four microsatellite markers (Simple Sequence Repeat - SSR), aiming at establishing association between marker and trait. Based on molecular data at four analyzed microsatellite loci (Xgwm11, Xgwm428, Xpsp3200, Xpsp3071), a total of 31 allelic forms were detected.
