Lesson Description: This lesson is the sixth of nine lessons from the Vocational Math: Contextualized for Construction course that was taught at Madison Area Technical College. During this lesson students work in groups, followed by whole class discussion, on volume problems contextualized for construction. The class starts out by following up from Lesson 5 and demonstrating how to calculate the Pythagorean theorem allowing the Construction Master Calculator to 'do the work.'
