作物遺傳變異性的降低,雖不致馬上造成田 間作物大規模被病原菌所感染,但確會使田間 植株有潛在被感染的危機.在雜交育種中,育種 家必需慎選親本,以便在自交世代中,維持適當 的遺傳變異性,以供選拔.作物品種間整體之遺 傳關係沒有建立,都可能無意中造成以兩個血 緣相近的個體做為親本,來行雜交育種.近期DNA 分析技術發展出逢機增殖DNA多型性(RAPD: random amplified polymorphic DNA),本計畫的目的即在探討利 用此技術於分析水稻品種間遺傳變異性的可能 性,並希望藉此分子層次的估質,有助於歸群分 析(Cluster analysis),以瞭解品種間群內與群間之 關係
