Following a short survey of the development of district heating in the Federal Republic of Germany in the year under report, tables inform on: installed capacity of users of space, service and production heat, maximum heat production capacity and heat input to network from combined heat and power stations, heating stations and subcontractors, cogeneration product electric power (rated capacity, net generation), heat distribution networks (waste heat, total length and house service stations). Expenses are grouped according to district heating utilities.
