The design and analysis of multiple stage turbines demand modern calculation methods providing a detailed view of the flow through the turbine. Two-dimensional calculations which are under development since the seventies are nowadays well established. Despite the availability of three-dimensional calculation methods they are still a main part of the design system because of their small computer time consumption. The performed method is based on a streamline curvature method extended by modules for the definition of blade geometry and correlations for exit flow angle and blade losses.
