In this research project, the uneven incoming flow of the multi-stage part of an experimental turbine with nozzle group regulation is examined experimentally depending on the outgoing flow conditions of the control stage and the geometry of the overflow housing. The flow field is measured after the exit from the tubine. Information can thus be obtained on the reduction of the nonuniformity in the multistage part. The progress of flow equalisation inside the multi-stage fully loaded part is followed up via wall pressure holes between the rows of blades.
