The work is devoted to thermodynamic studies of the relative strength of soldered joints at negative temperatures. It has been established that in the presence of electrolyte, the soldered joint is prone to destruction from oxidation reactions, both in the base metal and in solder. In order to increase the service life of soldered joints, it is necessary to remove residual fluxes carefully after the end of the soldering process. Thermodynamic calculations prove the relative strength of soldered joints at low temperatures. The complexity of the problem of soldered joints strength is explained by the presence of a complex of physico-mechanical, chemical, and structural-technological factors responsible for the formation of soldered joints and...
