TINDAK PIDANA PENGANIAYAAN YANG DILAKUKAN OLEH ANAK DI KOTA SURAKARTA (Studi Kasus di Balai Permasyarakatan (BAPAS) Kota Surakarta)

Children are a transitional age, an individual has left a child who is weak and full of dependence but has not been able to have a strong and responsible age, both to himself and to society. Often times children commit acts that cause harm in society, even committing criminal acts without thinking about the consequences of these actions. One of them was children who committed a criminal act of maltreatment which caused the victim to be injured as a result of this thoughtless act. The occurrence of the criminal act of persecution simultaneously occurs due to several factors, namely young age, social factors, and family factors. These three factors support the occurrence of criminal acts committed by children, especially the criminal act of maltreatment. In law, if a child is caught committing a criminal act, the legal process will be different from the legal process if the perpetrator is an adult, the child who is the perpetrator of the crime will be given diversion with different handling procedures in accordance with the provisions of the law
