[cat] A principis del segle XX podem veure un augment en la producció de cossos patològics dins el context de l’expressionisme austríac. En aquest treball mostrarem que això és fruit de la influència que van suposar les publicacions de l’hospital de la Salpêtrière i les visites a hospitals vienesos que van fer tant Schiele com Kokoschka. A més, relacionarem l’aparició d’aquesta estètica patològica amb el context social i cultural de la Viena fin-de-siècle.
