MINUTES OF COUNCIL September 20, 1930. 1105 - Presentt Dr. Watson (in Chair), Mr. Parker, Dr. McClenahan, Mr. Galt, Dr, Jeffery. Dr. Watson opened with prayer. 1106 - Minutes? Minutes of Meeting of September 15th were approved as typed. 1107 - Library Committee : Chairman of the Library Committee presented Minutes of its meeting of September 16th reporting the transaction of routine business, and recommending that a representative from the Extension Department be appointed to the Library Committee. Council appointed Dr. McClenahan to represent the Extension interests pro tem. Mr. Cleland to be the representative when he arrives. Council also decided to send a letter of thanks to Mrs. Gaird-ner for the gift to the S. 0. S. Library of the Canon’s Ghazzali collection. 1108 - Property Committee!- The Secretary of the Property Committee pre- s sented Minutes of its meeting of September 17th reporting the transaction of routine business and redommending (a) The renting for Dr. McClenahan at the expiration of his lease, of an appartment at the rate of £14 per month. (t>) A change of the Bursar’s office from its present position to room 120 downstairs. Council approved (a) and referred (b) for further consideration. 1109 - Addition to Bylaws j The Chairman was authorized to circularize all concerned in regard to a suggestion from the Board in Philadelphia as to an allowance of house rent during furlough. 1110 - adjournment?
