Report of the Registrar for the first semester 1954.56 was presented by Dr. MoLain, showing enrollment as follows: FA&S 400, Faculty of Education 149, Division of Extension 96, or a total of 645. No report was included for the S.O.S. The reports were reoeived, accepted, and ordered filed. Papers were distributed and explained by Dr. McLain on the duties of the following officers of A.U.C.: Educational Secretary in America (mailed in advance of the meeting), Director of Public Relations, Director of Information Ser-vices, Director of Hill House, Director of University Social Functions, and Registrar. Other papers enlarging on the present situation at it.U.C. were presented and commented upon as follows: Personnel Procedures, Use of Personnel between Units, Curriculum Pro-cedures for the University, Committee Structure for FA&S, Action on FA&S on Discipline Cases, Memo on an Orientation Course prepared for Point Four by S.O.S., Statement on Usages of Oriental Hall, Statement on Collection of Money for Armaments (mailed in advance), Open Letter to New York Times, Staff Listing: teaching and administrative, Functions of the Admissions Office, Announcement of School of Or-iental Studies, Law regarding Privato Schools, Progress Re-port as of November 29, 1955 on Support Program for the Uni-versity, and Admissions Information, F1'ß&S. Those papers were received, approved and ordered filed. At 4:30 p.m. the meeting adjourned, the Trustees going in a body to Assembly Hall, Riverside Church, New York City, to at-tend the annual Cairo dinner. One hundred and thirty guests were present, including Madame Hussein (wife of the Egyptian Ambassador to the United States and an alumna of AUC ), Mrs. Charles R. Watson, Dr. and Mrs. John S.
