The total quantity of salts discharged in the drainage waters in this period will not exceed the total quantity during the same period in 1964, with the understanding that in the event there are times during the period when all of the drainage waters are discharged below the dam, the quantities of salt discharged during such times under the Minute and the quantities discharged in the corresponding times in 1964, will be omitted in computing the total quantities of salts discharged during said period. Note: Wellton-Mohawk Irrigation District objects to this paragraph as imposing a condition over and above that in Minute 218. The year 1964 was not a normal year,--pumping was greatly reduced.
