Riding at the Door/Rides at the Door/ Itsoksi-ksisto-kiptopi - Blackfoot (Kainai): Born in 1878, Rides at the Door's name referenced the war experiences of his father, Crow Shoe, who was known to have daringly taken a horse from the front of an enemy teepee, mounting it and riding away. Rides at the Door had a slight limp from a hip injury he acquired when being dragged along by his horse at the age of 26, however, he was remembered as one of the most handsome men on the reserve. He lived a religious life, where he owned the Black Catchers' Pipe belonging to the Horn Society and joined the Church of England.
