This is an envelope that held a group of photographs that were to be added into the World War I scrapbooks created by Springfield College that highlighted the alum of the college. This envelope was located in the back of the scrapbook titled "YMCA College Men in the Great War (classes 1920-21)". There is writing on the front about the materials that were within. It is signed by Jacob Titus Bowne. The writing is not completely legible, but may say "Photos not inserted in the albums of of "[illegible] men" by order of pre. when more albums [illegible] made up. J.T. B."The materials within this envelope have been removed and placed within a folder in the back of the scrapbook.
