Harry Lyon scrapbook (1917)

Two pages from Harry S. Lyon's, a Springfield College student (Class of 1919), scrapbook. The first page has the class year 1919, four portrait photographs, a group portrait , photograph of Pratt Field, and photograph of a lake, perhaps Lake Massasoit. The individuals in the portraits are labelled (clockwise starting left top) Cliff[Clifford S. Hurlburt], Quinnie [Percy H. Quinlan], Habby and unknown but likely Harry S. Lyons himself. The second page has five portrait photographs of students in military uniforms. They are titled Shorty [Clifford E. Horton], SATC - Robert P. Hughes, Brett (dizzy Marine), Mac wounded twice 78th Division, OIS and a photograph of the Springfield College campus looking towards the Administration building.Mr. Lyon came to Springfield from Bridgeport, Connecticut. Mr. Lyons served in the U.S. Navy as in WWI.These are two pages from the Harry Lyon class of 1919 scrapbook.
