The atmospheric aerosol samples (PM2.5, n = 497) were collected from 2015 to 2016 at Seoul, Baengnyeong Island and Jeju Island, South Korea and the 15N/14N and 18O/16O of aerosol nitrate (NO3-) were analyzed using a bacterial denitrification method. The measured average δ15N and δ18O-NO3- values show a pattern of seasonal variation: enriched in winter (avg. δ15N: 7.5 ± 3.3‰ at Seouland 6.7 ± 7.2‰ at Baengnyeongavg. δ18O: 71.6 ± 16.9‰ at Seouland 73.0 ± 29.0‰ at Baengnyeong) and depleted in summer (avg. δ15N: -3.6 ± 4.6‰ at Seouland -5.5 ± 3....
