This series of articles describes the role of women that have played in the development of the Japanese consumer market in the fifty years after World War II, 1945-1995. The period of 1955-1974, the so called super economic growth peiod, is the time span studied in this research paper. As with the previous one, it is composed of three parts; namely, the factors concerned with the population, with the income, and with the needs and wants of women, which have affected the market in quantitative and qualitative ways
