Evaluation of soil degradation process at tourist trail, in the area of Halicz and Rozsypaniec in Bieszczady National Park.

The main threats to evaluation of soil degradation process at tourist trail, in the area of Halicz and Rozsypaniec have been described. The researches pointed out considerably small contamination of the researched soils with heavy metals and radionuclides. Another purpose was the presentation of threats and preservation methods. There is a description of environment components such as geographical situation, the lie of the land, geological base, hydrography, climatic conditions, soils, flora and fauna. Threats rendering deterioration of soils in Bieszczadzki National Park are connected with active morphogenetic processes and human impact. Natural damages don’t determine significant hazards of the major objects and phenomena of the abiotic environment. Anthropogenic threats to the soil cover are related to mass tourism. The protection problems which depend on ecological consciousness of local community as well as visitors were mentioned. There are suggestions of solutions problems such as permanently programs for children and youth, students practices, conferences. The educational paths, created within the foot trails are presented such as an example of protective actions.Przedmiotem pracy była ocena degradacji pokrywy glebowej przy szlakach turystycznych w rejonie Halicza i Rozsypańca. Wyniki porównano z danymi z lat poprzednich. Wskazano na brak ewidentnych oznak zanieczyszczenia gleb parku przez metale ciężkie i radionuklidy. Przedstawiono także zagrożenia oraz sposoby ochrony gleb w Bieszczadzkim Parku Narodowym. Praca zawiera również opis środowiska przyrodniczego, na które składają się: położenie geograficzne i rzeźbę terenu, budowa geologiczna, hydrografia, warunki klimatyczne, gleby, flora i fauna. Zagrożenia, związane z degradacją gleb na terenie Bieszczadzkiego Parku Narodowego, dotyczą zarówno przyczyn naturalnych, jakimi są ciągłe procesy geomorfologiczne, jak i przyczyny uwarunkowane działaniem człowieka. Naturalne zagrożenia nie stanowią jednak znaczących niebezpieczeństw pokrywy glebowej, w stosunku do antropopresji. Degradacja środowiska abiotycznego jest ściśle związana z ruchem turystycznym.Wspomniano również istniejące problemy ochrony, które zależą od świadomości ekologicznej, zarówno społeczności lokalnej, jak również odwiedzających teren Parku turystów
