Dr. and Mrs. Cole Surrounded by Guests during Plaque Presentation 2

A plaque honoring Dr. Houston Cole was unveiled May 27, 1962 in the new Leone Cole Center at Jacksonville State College (now Jacksonville State University). The plaque was presented to President Cole for outstanding service to Jacksonville and placed by the faculty of the college as well as the people of Jacksonville. In attendance were, from left, Dean Leon Willman, Dr. J.M. Anders, Dr. L.W.
