Mason Hall and Rowan Hall were two new buildings at Jacksonville State College (now Jacksonville State University) dedicated October 6, 1963. A brief program was held in Leone Cole Auditorium. Mrs. John Rowan, widow to Mr. Rowan who served as college physician for many years, was member of one of Jacksonville\u27s pioneer families. Before retiring in 1960 she was housemother at Daugette Hall.
