First to fly in the Northern Territory and the first transcontinental flight. Arrived Darwin 12 December, 2 days after arrival of Vickers Vimy G-EAOU of Capt Ross Smith, Lt Keith Smith and Sgts Jim Bennett and Wally Shiers on their completion of the first Eng-Aus flight.
