Analisis Isi Tentang Kencenderungan Adegan Kekerasan pada Film Peter Rabbit karya Will Gluck

A few days after the Peter Rabbit launcing Premier Film Gala, the community made a petition for the film, because one of the scenes where one character has an allergy can which can cause death to other characters used as an opportunity to bully. according to the community it is considered inappropriate because in that country (UK) the problem of allergies is a serious matter, not something that can be used as material for joking. Therefore, researchers are interested in examining this issue with the aim of finding out trends in violence in the Peter Rabbit Films. The film in this study, researchers use as a medium of mass communication. The main characteristic of the film is that it can reach the wider community quickly, and one of the functions of the film is Persuasive which can influence the audience to imitate the style of one of the characters who play a role in the film. The Peter Rabbit film is categorized for children, but the scenes that are served have an element of violence, which can influence children to do the scenes that have been presented in the film. The method the researcher uses is content analysis, quantitative approach. Through content analysis, it can be described what subcategories of violence there are and how many times these subcategories appear. Furthermore the analysis unit is used per-shot. The research technique used was the observation of the Peter Rabbit Film, then the reliability testing was done through a coding process based on categories and subcategories that had been prepared. The reliability test was measured using the Holsty formula and strengthened by the Scoot formula Based on the results of this study, the elements of violence that appeared in the Peter Rabbit Film were divided into two categories, namely Verbal Violence and Nonverbal Violence, found from the two categories of violence tendencies that most often appear with the largest frequency of occurrence were non verbal violence 100 times. These results are based on the details of the subcategory stabbing 7 times, the subcategory of hitting 89 times, the subcategory of slapping 3 times, the subcategory of stopping 1 time, the subcategory tackling 0, the subcategory spitting at 0, the subcategory of hitting 0. Then the type of verbal abuse 38 times. The results are based on the details of subcategory insulting 12 times, subcategory defamation 1 time, subcategory cursing 10 times, subcategory dubbing 9 times, subcategory shouting 4 times, subcategory refusing with harsh words 1 time, subcategory humiliating 10 times, publicly dubbing 9 times, subcategory shouting 4 times, subcategory rejecting harsh words 1 time, subcategory humiliating in public with 9 times verbally 1 time. The conclusion of this study is in the film Peter Rabbit contains the percentage of the appearance of the element of violence from 1745 shots as much as 138 times or 7.9%. So, the film Peter Rabbit includes the duration of the appearance of violence, including a little but still dangerous for children
