This article presents part of the process leading to the large-scale three-dimensional drawing entitled Weaving Lines/Looming Narratives (2013), through a series of three images. The project engaged with questions of presence and representation in the drawing of architectural and urban spaces, considering the city as a kinetic rather than static condition. On this basis, the process described revisits architectural drawing conventions in terms of their linear notational code and their lines of inclusion, to propose the introduction of the temporal and the ephemeral into architectural representation.
