Teaching the European key competence of the sense of initiative and entrepreneurship

Il presente contributo affronta la questione dell’insegnante imprenditivo ecome si possa educare per la competenza chiave del senso d’iniziativa ed’imprenditorialità come materia cross-curricolare. Il paper analizza la letteraturasull’imprenditorialità e l’imprenditività, la loro didattica, il concettodi competenza, e le competenze chiave per l’apprendimento permanente.Il contributo definisce cinque aspetti fondanti dell’insegnamento del sensod’iniziativa e d’imprenditorialità; questi sono sviluppati in un questionarioe somministrati come interviste strutturate a un gruppo d’insegnanti ed’istruttori tecnico pratici di un istituto tecnico tecnologico situato in Lombardia.I risultati mostrano come gli insegnanti insegnano e significano l’imprenditivitàsecondo il ruolo e la materia insegnata.This article tackles the issue of enterprising teachers and how they can educatefor the key competence of the sense of initiative and entrepreneurshipas a cross curricular subject. It analyses the literature on entrepreneurshipand enterprise education, didactics, competence and key competences.The article defines five aspects critical to teaching the sense of initiativeand entrepreneurship. These are expanded upon a questionnaireand administered as structured interviews with a group of Italian secondaryteachers and workshop assistants. Results show how the interviewees makesense of and teach enterprise education according to their role and thesubject they teach
