EFEKTIFITAS PROGRAM PELATIHAN KARYAWAN BARU PADA PT. X

The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of new employee training programs at PT. X. The training process starts from briefing from HRD to On Job Training (OJT). In this study the authors actively involved directly in the training process carried out and the authors get data from the results of observations, interviews and literature study. Based on practical work that the authors do that the training process at PT. X is quite systematic, starting from the planning, objectives to be achieved, competencies provided to the evaluation system that is applied is able to describe the results of the training activities carried out, but there are some obstacles to the training process in production, namely the difference in the speed of participants in understanding the material and the absence of a special training room in the production division. The author recommends that the HRD division be more selective in choosing prospective new employees and for the development of production trainers and the provision of special training rooms in production areas.   Keywords: Training Effectiveness, Training Programe Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui efektifitas program pelatihan karyawan baru pada PT. X. Proses pelatihan dimulai dari pembekalan dari HRD sampai dengan On Job Training (OJT). Dalam penelitian ini penulis secara aktif terjun langsung dalam proses pelatihan yang dilaksanakan dan Penulis mendapatkan data dari hasil observasi, wawancara dan studi pustaka. Berdasarkan kerja praktik yang penulis lakukan bahwa proses pelatihan di PT. X sudah cukup sistematis, mulai dari perencanaan, tujuan yang ingin dicapai, kompetensi yang diberikan sampai sistem evaluasi yang diterapkan sudah mampu menggambarkan dari hasil kegiatan pelatihan yang dilakukan, namun ada beberapa kendala untuk proses pelatihan di produksi yaitu adanya perbedaan kecepatan peserta dalam memahami materi dan belum adanya ruang khusus pelatihan di divisi produksi. Penulis merekomendasikan divisi HRD lebih selektif dalam memilih calon karyawan baru dan adanya pengembangan untuk production trainer serta pengadaan ruangan khusus pelatihan di area produksi.
