This research seeks to highlight the need for reflections within Translation studies for an interdisciplinary approach to the designing of translation and how to improve its pedagogy within the framework of the teaching of Foreign Languages, with the aim to establishing complementary links between Foreign Language teaching and Translation. From a communicational perspective, the two disciplines could have a lot in common.
