'Estate, a Reverie' is a film forged by community and a spirited celebration of extraordinary everyday humanity, and made from within the Hackney housing estate featured. Filmed over seven years by the filmmaker who also lived there, Estate celebrates the resilience of people on the margins who are both stereotyped and profoundly overlooked by media representations and wider social responses. 'Estate, a Reverie' was shown at a series of screenings and artist talks for the 2015 Jarman Award tour. Andrea Luka Zimmerman was one of six shortlisted artists for the Jarman Award 2015. The tour culminated in a two-day programme of events at the Whitechapel Gallery, London
