Stres in children on the first degree of primary school

The aim of this diploma thesis is to characterise the symptoms of stress on children at secondary schools and to identify the situation causing the stress. The diploma thesis is of the theoretical-empirical character. In the theoretical part I am concerned with the problematic of stress and the terminology connected to it (the difficult life situations, stressors, stress response ). In connection to stress I describe also its causes and consequences. The description of school age development period, the problematic of the elementary school and relaxing exercise for preventing stress, follow the problematic of stress. The practical part covers the descriptions, tables and graphs touching the questionnaire which was distributed to 160 teachers of the elementary education. The teachers from Kovářov, Petrovice, Milevsko, Chyšky, Třeboň, České Budějovice, Týn nad Vltavou, Sepekov were included in the research
