The bachelor thesis deals with the Czech non-professional scenic dance during the years 1968 to 1989 and shortly introduces the situation in the field in years before. It explains the system of institutions for nonprofessional (not only scenic) dance and their scope of employment. It considers the Czech non-professional dance as a complex subject with a particular relation to the state system and to other cultural and art disciplines. It summarizes the activity in the field and it introduces significant representatives and actions, above all displays.
